Flower Market Fun

April 3, 2017

Oh my heart I love Spring! My allergies...not so much! But the longer days, warmer weather, and flowers blooming all around make this gal one happy camper! To celebrate, I've teamed up with a talented group of blogging friends to share ideas to ensure all your Spring and Easter get togethers are fabulous! Be sure to hop over to our sweet hostess Goldie's blog, Pretty Twinkle Party, to see her Egg-stra Charming Easter Tablescape, then start hopping away from the beginning to see all the inspiration!

If you've joined from AK Party Studio, welcome! Toni sure can style a bar cart! So many fun ideas for your Easter desserts.

Today I'm sharing with you a little flower market fun! We've teamed up with Moments by Maredith Photography to offer Spring mini sessions this year and I'm positively over the moon with how we transformed our photo booth into a dessert station/potting stand.

If you're new to our photo booths, you can see our "Life's a Fiesta" booth from last summer here. We like to set one up each month in front of our boutique, and giggle along as we watch customers take selfies! A post chock full of all our booths from this past year is coming soon, so be sure to check back.

But I digress... back to the flower market! Since we're hosting both both boys and girls during our mini sessions, we decided upon a more neutral color palette. The white, and distressed light wood really pops against the green grass and trees.

I painted the top of the booth with the words "Flower Market" to set the tone, and added a simple DIY felt flower bunting to the bottom.

We found the distressed flower pots at Michael's. Don't they have the perfect patina?

I love this little painter's step ladder. It belonged to my dad and every time I use it I think of him. :)

The cute little chair is a vintage find Maredith's found in a barn belonging to her family. It's just the right scale for our pint-sized models.

Mr. garden gnome is from the Target dollar spot and we used him for our Yay for Spring GNO décor last year. A little yellow spray paint and he fits right in.

I don't know about you, but working in the garden makes me hungry, so having yummy cupcakes topped with Bakery Bling™ "In Bloom" Glittery Sugar™ Spring Blend sprinkles and lemonade on hand are a must.

Flower Market Mini Sessions are Saturday, April 29, and you can find more info here.
