With all the hustle and bustle the holiday season brings, I like to try and take a few moments to pamper myself. And while getting to an actual spa isn't always on the agenda, a nice warm shower with a DIY Peppermint Vanilla Sugar Scrub is the next best thing!

Peppermint is my go-to scent at Christmas. I find it to be invigorating, especially on those chilly mornings when I'd rather stay snuggled up under the covers where it's warm and toasty than venturing out into the cold world.
This year we made Peppermint Vanilla Sugar Scrub, along with a Peppermint Vanilla Salt soak (following this recipe here, but adding a touch of vanilla), and gifted them to my son's teachers, as well as to a few of my friends at our annual girl's Christmas brunch.
I was sure to save some for myself too of course! Using just a bit in the shower goes a long way to enliven one's senses and winter weary skin. To find the full recipe, hop over to the Crafts Unleashed blog!
Happy holidays, and may your days be merry and your skin be bright!
