Frozen Fever Galentine's Party

March 5, 2016

We had so much fun celebrating friendship with our little galentines Frozen Fever style! The popularity of Frozen is as strong as ever, so we figured if we can't beat 'em, join 'em! I just love the bright and spring-y colors associated with the new movie - really makes me ready for longer days and warmer weather!

Our yummy treats for the evening consisted of cupcakes, pink candy dipped Rice Krispie treats, and colorful popcorn from the Mom and Popcorn Company in downtown McKinney.

How cute are those little French milk bottles?! SUPA cute if you ask me! I wanted to jazz them up a little, so added some polka dot ribbon and little flowers that perfectly matched the theme.

I saved on time by purchasing pre-made Rice Krispie treats, then cut them in half and dipped them into melted chocolate. The little yellow ribbon adds that little extra touch I think.

These cupcakes were not only favorites of our little galentines, but the guys at Mesquite's Fire Station No 3 were thrilled to partake in the left-overs! And can we just talk about those ah-dorable (if I do say so myself!) flower lollis? Kinda obsessed with them!

Our first craft of the evening was a picture frame decorated with snowflakes that PERFECTLY matched the Frozen Fever theme. Way to go Oriental Trading!! I love using their crafts for our girls' nights and camps. They come individually packaged with all the bits and pieces to create a fun and cute masterpiece.

The galentines also decorated snowflake shapes (also from Oriental Trading) with mini sunflowers and lots of jewels - we're a big fan of be-jeweling things at S&S!

A couple of happy galentines showing off their fancy snowflakes!

Another little craft for the night was a beaded bracelet with snowflake charms from...you guessed it...Oriental Trading! I love using chenille stems to make bracelets with younger girls...their fuzzy and stiffness helps keep the beads from flying everywhere. And if she isn't the cutest Olaf you've ever seen I don't know who is!

The galentines took turns signing these colorful snowflake beach balls, and each took one home as a little momento of a fun night spent with new friends and old.

The rest of our night was spent dressing up and getting our signature glittery up-dos,

dancing...

...more dancing...

...even the S&S hostesses got into it!

Here's the full group of Frozen Fever Galentines post-fashion show, ready to chill out and watch a movie. I'll give you one guess as to which movie they chose! ;)
