Made of Sugar and Spice is proud of its excellent reputation throughout the community and neighboring towns.  We attribute our success to the hundreds of successful parties we've hosted, our fair policies and most importantly, our devotion to the guest of honor.  

 

Our policies are designed to deliver a sensational, memory-making party for the guest of honor, and therefore strictly adhere to the following practices in order to make this a special day for everyone involved...

 

  • Each party includes the following: 9 guests + the birthday girl for a total of 10 girls; 1 1/2 hours fully hosted party; t-shirt for 1 (one) birthday girl (if multiple girls celebrating, extra t-shirt(s) are available to purchase for $12); dancing & karaoke; group photo for each party guest; 1 theme-specific party favor for each party guest; theme-decorated table, including centerpieces, paper products, utensils, pink lemonade and water. Refer to our Party Add-Ons page for additional information.
     

  • The package price is for 9 girls plus the birthday girl, for a total of 10 girls. There will be an additional charge for each girl beyond the package total of 10 (this includes the birthday girl). Additional charge(s) per girl varies depending on the package; see package details. If less than 10 girls (this includes the birthday girl) attend the party, you will still be charged the regular package price. No exceptions please.
     

  • $125 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required at the time of booking a party, with the balance due at the end of the party. Camp and Girls' Night Out deposits are also non-refundable but vary in amount, please refer to the Camp and GNO pages for more info.

 

  • All Party deposits are non-refundable. If you need to postpone your party, you may postpone once without penalty, provided you've offered no less than 3 weeks' notice. If a party date needs to be changed for reasons other than illness, inclement weather, or family emergency, the client is responsible for paying an additional deposit fee of $125 to Made of Sugar and Spice, due to loss of income, in the event the opening left by the original date is not booked. We understand life happens and children become ill, etc, therefore we will review each situation on a case-by-case basis when determining the extra fee. We will gladly work with you to find an alternate party date for your consideration. If you choose to cancel our services for ANY reason, your deposit is forfeited. Deposits cannot be applied to other services or merchandise. All parties must be rebooked within one calendar year of the original booking date.
     

  • All Camp deposits are non-refundable. We will gladly work with you to find an alternate camp date, provided you've given at least 2 weeks' notice of cancellation. Alternate dates are based upon availability and what will work with your schedule. If you choose to cancel our services for ANY reason or fail to notify us in advance that you are unable to attend, your deposit is forfeited. Deposits cannot be applied to other services, events or merchandise. All camps must be rebooked within one calendar year of the original booking date.
     

  • All GNO deposits are non-refundable.  We will gladly work with you to find an alternate GNO date, provided you've given at least 3 days' notice of cancellation. Alternate dates are based upon availability and what will work with your schedule. If you choose to cancel our services for ANY reason or fail to notify us in advance that you are unable to attend, your deposit is forfeited. Deposits cannot be applied to other services, events or merchandise. All GNOs must be rebooked within one calendar year of the original booking date.

 

  • Deposits may be paid in the form of cash, debit, or credit card. The remaining balance must be paid in full by the end of the party or at the start of the Camp or GNO. Checks are NOT accepted. 

  • A service charge of $30 is applied to parties with 13 - 18 girls ATTENDING -or- a CONFIRMED party of 13 - 18 girls for the addition of an extra hostess. Add a $50 service charge for parties with 19+ girls or a CONFIRMED party of 19+ girls for the addition of an extra hostess(es). This is in addition to the price per extra guest. In the event you opt NOT to bring in the extra hostess prior to the party and your party size does extend beyond 12 guests, the extra fee service charge will still apply as we will have to pull the manager to assist with the party to ensure it flows smoothly and does not run over on time.
     

  • Each party is 1 1/2 hours in length, with the exception of our Posh Pet, Fancy Nancy Posh Puppy, Sugarlicious Spa, and Tea parties which are 1 hour and 45 minutes. 
     

  • A $15 Service Charge will be applied to all parties who bring in outside food other than the birthday treat itself (e.g. cake, cookies, cupcakes, donuts, etc).
     

  • A $45/15 minutes or $75/30 minutes Service Charge will be applied for overtime. You are more than welcome to add time to extend your party if you choose. Parties adding 30 minutes extra time will have 15 minutes added both to the start and end times. Parties with 17 or more guests MUST add no less than 15 minutes to the start of their party time. (i.e. if you choose a 10:30 party time and expect 17 guests, please add 15 minutes time with a party start time of 10:15).
     

  • Rarely does it take our hostesses longer than 5 - 10 minutes to assist with arranging birthday treats, therefore we request you arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your scheduled party time. We know your little ladies are eager to get their party started, however, we do need time to allow for cleaning, etc, between parties to guarantee the best party experience possible. We reserve the right to add a $45 Service Charge for any parties arriving more than 15 minutes early.
     

  • You're welcome to bring in your own decor items; a fee of $25 may be added to parties who do so. The fee is determined on a case-by-case basis, and does not apply to balloons or themed party plates. We kindly ask that you schedule an appointment during the week of your party (typically Thursday evening) to arrange for delivery of decorations. 

 

  • A final headcount is required three business days before the date of your party. 

  • Note: Due to the nature of our parties and limited space, we kindly request parents supervise their children at all times for their safety. Siblings must be supervised at all times, and parents should not expect staff to monitor their actions. Children should remain in the main party space and/or dressing area, and should not be in our staff area and/or storage room unattended. We ask that parents escort their children to the restroom, and remind them that running and climbing on furniture is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to impose a fee should theft or damage to property occur during our parties due to lack of parental supervision. 
     

  • Our parties are packed with fun and follow a schedule.  Late arrivals may join the party at its point in progress. For example, if we have already completed makeup and hair and have started dancing, the late guest will skip makeup and hair and join in the dancing.  

 

  • Gift opening is not an included activity with our parties. We strictly adhere to the allotted 1 and 1/2 hours for each party. The exception to this rule is reserved to our smaller parties with fewer than 5 guests, time allowing.  However, if gift opening is an important activity, you do have the option of adding an extra 15 minutes of party time for $45.  
     

  • All prices on this website are subject to change without notice. While we make every effort to provide you with the most accurate, up-to-date information, occasionally, one or more items on our website may be incorrect. We reserve the right to refuse to honor any inaccurate prices shown here on our website, or on our individual party listing pages. Once you have secured a party date, you will lock in that particular price for the package. However, if any changes occur to the package itself, additional fees may apply to take advantage of any new offerings.
